A new Nationwide Tour event, the "Winn-Dixie Jacksonville Open," will makes its debut Oct 18-24, 2010 in Ponte Vedra Beach.  The tournament will be played on TPC Sawgrass Dye’s Valley Course, and a portion of tickets sold through the PepsiCO TICKETS Fore CHARITYTM program will benefit The First Tee of Jacksonville, as well as other area charities.

The PepsiCo TICKETS Fore CHARITYTM program has generated nearly $4 million for non-profit organizations across the country over the past few years. Using the link below, each ticket purchased for the Winn-Dixie Jacksonville Open will allow The First Tee of Jacksonville to received 100% of the purchase price of the ticket.

The Winn-Dixie Jacksonville Open will provide a purse of $600,000, with $108,000 being awarded to the overall winner. All four rounds of the Winn-Dixie Jacksonville Open will be broadcast on GOLF CHANNEL in the U.S.

Now in its 21^st year, the Nationwide Tour is a subsidiary of PGA TOUR, Inc., with the Top 25 competitors at the end of the year earning PGA TOUR cards for the next season. Two out of every three current PGA TOUR members formerly played the Nationwide Tour and alumni have won 257 PGA TOUR titles.
